Computer Business Solutions (CBS), the leading Information Technology Company in Lesotho, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS UNIT.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for finding new clients and clinching business deals for Software Development projects.

The Technical Sales Engineer is a key point of contact for corporate clients and provides trusted technical sales advisory services. The Technical Sales Engineer delivers IT solutions to clients through collaboration with the Software Engineers.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
 Sell and deliver Information Technology solutions to CBS clients in IT Software consulting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 Provide professional advice to various clients on how to best use information technology to solve business problems
 Identify business opportunities and write proposals to win new business
 Acquire new clients who will benefit from CBS’ high value projects
 Work in collaboration with a team with Sales Engineers and Software Engineers to deliver appropriate software solutions to the clients.
 Meet with clients to analyze business problems, make solution recommendations, close commercial deals and participate in the development of agreed solutions
 Analyze and design software applications that meet clients business needs
 Manage customer relations

CORE DUTIES
 Selling large-scale, innovative IT services and solutions
 Developing project concepts;
 Analysing operational efficiency needs for organizations;
 Presenting solutions and services in written or verbal reports;
 Gathering business intelligence in the market place;
 Assessing solution success based on customer satisfaction;
 Meeting or exceeding sales targets

REQUIREMENTS
 Minimum 1 years of practical experience selling IT products and services.
 Minimum 2 years in software development
 Excellent technical writing and communication skills;
 Ability to handle multiple activities and function well under pressure.
 Responsible for building own clientele

QUALIFICATION
 Degree in Computer Science / MIS / Computer Engineering or equivalent with an experience of at least 3 years.
 Ability to sell is a key requirement for the position.
