This person will be driving our engineers in building our next generation Global Multi-Asset Post Trade Process Platform. As the Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the engineers and heading up program leadership centered around technical achievements/projects. This role will include both people and program management. You understand that the value of keeping on track with deliverables is paramount to the success of our comprehensive programs. You will be a catalyst for change, influencing staff to achieve goals by stressing accountability and ownership.
You will report to the Portfolio Lead for GPTM, who has global responsibility for ensuring GPTM deliveries across a sophisticated, modern, componentized architecture. Responsible for collaborating closely with the development managers, product owners, analysts, testers, engineers and the Heads of Portfolio Development to help lead our technology vision.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Leadership and Development Leadership in delivering best-in-class solutions that meet the needs of the business and our customers
- Responsible for overall project and program management across a set of selected GTO Clients
- Structure comprehensive plans based on commitments, contractual terms & schedule for the Clients
- You will work with the clients & product teams to define Non-Functional & Functional Requirements (NFRs) and ensure testing is completed.
- Collaborate with the SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) function to ensure that Dev, QA, SIT, UAT, PROD Environments are per the NFRs and delivered ahead of schedule
- Provide periodic and key milestone based executive status and detailed project updates
- Ensure code quality scans and run accurately and the identified issues are added to the sprint backlogs for remediation
- Drive code quality and code improvement initiatives that implement coding standard methodologies
- Leading multiple squads of highly skilled engineers, including conducting performance and other HR specific reviews
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance and oversight to Scrum Masters and Lead Engineers within the squads.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, advanced degree a plus
- 10+ years of experience in a software development environment, preferably at a Fintech firm
- 10+ years of experience in leading large scale engineering teams, organizational budgets, and vendor relationships
- Fixed Income and Equities back office processing and accounting is preferred but not required
- Deep practitioner of Agile and Lean Start-Up methodologies
- Strong client service orientation with ability to bring a customer-centric perspective to all situations
- Commercial mindset, ensuring time and money are well spent and have long term financial benefits to the company
