Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions tenable in the Ministry of Health.
JOB TITLE : TECHNICAL OFFICER (PLUMBING)
NO. OF POSITIONS : ONE (1)
GRADE : D
RESPONSIBLE TO : SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER

MAIN DUTIES
- To carry out maintenance and repair works of sanitations, flashings, sheet metal, geysers, leakages, blockages, gutters and down-pipes, brazing, fire sprinklers and piping etc.
- Conduct HSA Preventive maintenance with minimum supervision.
- Maintain all plumbing works in the HSA.
- Manage an efficient and well organised work-shop and be responsible for the care and security of HSA maintenance tools and equipment.
- Prepare maintenance schedules, work-plans for TSD visit to the HSA.
- Be on call after hours to respond to maintenance problems at the hospital.
- Contact the appropriate TSD and give precise and accurate explanations or repair problems.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Certificate in Plumbing and minimum of one (1) year experience in relevant field.
