Description:
- Coordinate technical support and provide commercial assistance to the sales and marketing team, as well as the Small Scale Farmer (SSF) sales agents, in support of marketing and sales to small scale or emerging farmers.
- Provide training and technical support directly to SSF customers, including farmers, sales outlets, state veterinarians, veterinary technicians and all agricultural extension officers.
- Provide input and insights into all marketing and strategic activities and planning around the SSF market.
Qualifications:
- BVSc degree or equivalent.
- Must be a registered veterinarian within the Republic of South Africa.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a veterinarian with emphasis on ruminant medicine.
- Fluent in English and at least two other South African languages, not including Afrikaans.
- Good presentation and coaching skills.
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Optimal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership abilities.
- Time management
