Technical Manager: Faith Based and Communities of Faith

Description: Provide oversight on the implementation of all the FCI activities. The incumbent will provide technical support and assistance to sub-awardees of the FCI Project on the two priority areas; namely a) reaching men and children in the HIV Prevention and Treatment cascade and b) Strengthening Justice for Children through preventing sexual violence for boys and girls as well as linkage through the Justice Sector. He or she will directly supervise two Program Officers.
Requirements: Masters’ Degree in Public Health or Social Sciences or similar degree with 5 to 7 years relevant progressive experience in technical senior program-management level in a large HIV/AIDS program at national or international level in USAID/PEPFAR funded programs; Sound knowledge in the development, management, planning and reporting of HIV Prevention, treatment, care and support including the HIV cascade (95-95-95); Knowledge of HIV Prevention, gender equality and sexual violence, health, and development programs in developing countries; particularly in Lesotho; Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infections; Experience managing, supervising and building the capacity of staff and sub-awardees.
