The Technical Instructor (AWS) role:
A Cloud Guru Technical Instructors are high-profile and instantly recognised. This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career, and who is excited about the chance to develop an international personal brand in the AWS community. You’ll work with a dedicated team of content professionals including videographers, editors and brand & marketing specialists who’ll assist you in producing content of the highest possible quality and promoting your profile to our global audience.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Work with the VP of Content and Content Managers to develop detailed plans and outline of the courses and content you will produce.
- Develop video courses and/or short-form content in the AWS platform
- Create additional content such as blog posts and quizzes to complement your courses if they are needed.
- Engage and help students on A Cloud Guru forums.
- Update, curate and maintain your content (including replacing outdated videos and fixing bugs).
- Participate in planning sessions and contribute to A Cloud Guru curriculum
- Peer-review and assisting with the QA process for other instructor’s courses
About you
We’re looking for a Subject Matter Expert in the AWS space. You’ll need to have real world experience building solutions in AWS, but you can come from a variety of different backgrounds. Above all, you’ll need to have a high level of passion for imparting your knowledge to others, and an ability to explain technical concepts to a wide audience. This role requires someone to be drive, self motivated and open to new things.
