RESPONSIBLE TO: SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER
MAIN DUTIES
THE OFFICER IS RESPONSIBLE TO:
1. Maintain the airside and landside cleanliness at the Airport.
2. Maintains grass cutting along the runway and in the taxiways.
3. Ensure that the runway is in good condition for safe landing and takeoff of the airplanes.
4. Supervises the Grounds-men to ensure regular cleanliness of the Terminal, Administration, New Administration block, Maintenance and Fire Station surroundings (Airside and Landside).
5. General maintenance around the Airport.
6. Ensures the Apron airfield movement areas are in good condition for the safe aircraft operations.
7. Produces monthly reports.
8. Any other duties assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATION
• Certificate in plumbing, building or carpentry from a recognized vocational institution plus at least one-year related experience.
