Qualification Requirements

Knowledge Requirements:
Sound knowledge and expertise of pharmaceutical management good practice and Health Product Management
Good understanding of health system operations and legal matters that govern pharmaceutical sector (regulation of pharmaceutical/health products, South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA), policy decision making structures)
At least 3 years’ experience in SCM in public sector
Advanced MS Excel skills and Excellent writing skills
Proficient knowledge with relevant legislation including the Constitution, PFMA and treasury regulations/instruction/practice notes, PPPFA, B-BBEEA and the code of conduct, and Global Fund Procurement policies
Skills Set:
Computer Skills in Excel advance, Word and PowerPoint;
Good Communication Skills (Verbal and written);
Problem Solving Skills;
Accuracy and attention to detail;
Ability to work under constant pressure;
Excellent leadership skills 
Job Description:
To provide operational and administrative support to the programme (including but not limited to tracking letters, reports and other related documents from drafts to final version.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with the relevant stakeholders in order to ensure timely responses to queries and requirements.
Provide technical support during meetings with different stakeholders including the sub-recipients (SRs) and the lead implementers; documenting minutes and distributing these to relevant stakeholders.
Provide technical support and coordinate the compilation of submissions to the GF and LFA
Support compilation and technical write ups for submission of Progress Update and disbursement requests (PUDR)
Provide technical support during development of Grant proposals for Global Fund grants including Grant Making and Local Funding Agent (LFA) review processes
Compile supply chain monthly and quarterly reports including a detailed national stock status report
It should be noted that the above positions are all fixed term appointments that would culminate at the end of March 2022
