Job Title Technical Architect-Paterson Grade C
Reports to Head of Information Technology
Department: Operations, IT
Location : Head Office, Maseru
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the banking systems technical infrastructure and solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs and implements technical solutions that meet business and system requirements.
Ensures that the technical solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and meet industry standards and regulations.
Collaborates with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business needs and identifies opportunities for system
improvements.• Develops and maintains technical documentation.
• Conducts technical evaluations of new technologies and solutions and provides recommendations for implementations.
• Identifies and mitigates technical risks and provides technical guidance to project teams.
• Develops and facilitates implementation of cyber security architecture and strategy that enable compliance of regulations and
international standards.
Designs and develops solutions to support business continuity and mitigate against data loss.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science. Information Technology, or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT technical architecture and solutions design or related roles, preferably in the banking or
fnancial services industry.
SKILLS. KNOWLEDGEAND ABILITIES
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in banking or payments will be an added advantage.
Organizational and leadership skills
