Team Leader – Library, Teaching and Research Excellence at Botho University, Maseru

Botho University (BU) was established in Botswana in 1997 and has rapidly evolved over the years to become a leading multidisciplinary high-quality tertiary education provider in the SADC region. Botho University-Lesotho is the first international campus of the University which is registered with the Ministry of Education and Training. All its programmes offered by Botho University are accredited by the Council on Higher Education-Lesotho (CHE).

1.Master’s Degree in Library Studies or Information Management Science
2.Minimum of four years’ working experience in the relevant field.

1.The incumbent will ensure the smooth operation of the Maseru Campus Library and will also give support for teaching and research activities at the campus.
2.Actively participate in the formulation of Library Policies, Procedures, KPA and KPIs
3.Contribute in developing departmental budget for Maseru Campus
4.Identifying sources and suppliers of relevant works, collection and develop management 
5.Marketing and Promoting Library Information services
6.Training staff on 21st century teaching skills and approaches, monitoring online classroom observation and student feedback.
7.Facilitating research knowledge sharing platforms, collecting research papers from authors, creating awareness of research initiatives to Botho University community.
