Job Description

  • To assist the Manager Operations in maximising the team’s performance, unlocking the team’s potential to deliver operational excellence incorporating best practices, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and managing risk within the team. Provides technical and expert support to enable the team to meet and exceed the client’s expectations in line with service level agreements and set quality standards.

Qualifications

  • B.Com / B.Admin, GA, CIMA or other relevant qualification minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have an additional qualification in Insurance. Minimum Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance.

Experience

  • Claims Handling Experience preferably at Team Leader level in a Broker or Underwriter.
  • Experience managing a team of claims handlers or service consultants.
  • Knowledge on short-term and long-term Insurance
  • Understanding of risk and risk mitigation
  • Proven track record of achieving insurance sales targets.
  • Experience in delivery of customer service.
  • Dedicated and Client Focused with excellent communication skills.
  • A good understanding of the entire Bank’s full range of products.
  • A good knowledge of the Bank’s service principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
