Job Summary:

A Team Leader at Thusong Financial Services will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing sales activities through the sales representatives’ channel, aligning with the company’s goals and targets. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to motivate and guide a sales team to achieve and exceed company objectives.

Position Overview:

This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, setting targets, implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring seamless sales operations. The Team Leader will contribute to the overall success of Thusong Financial Services through strong leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

– Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of sales agents to achieve individual and team sales targets.

– Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to enhance the skills and performance of team members.

– Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes high morale and engagement.

2. Sales Strategy:

– Develop and implement effective sales strategies in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.

– Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.

3. Performance Management:

– Set clear performance expectations, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and conduct regular performance reviews.

– Implement performance improvement plans as needed and recognize and reward outstanding performance.

4. Sales Operations:

– Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.

– Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall sales operations.

5. Training and Development:

– Collaborate with the training department to ensure continuous skill development for sales representatives.

– Conduct regular training sessions to update the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.

6. Customer Relationship Management:

– Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring that sales reps provide excellent service and address customer inquiries effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.

– Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing sales teams, preferably in the financial services industry.

– Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and customer relationship management.

– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

– Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse sales data and make data-driven decisions.

– Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
