- The Government of Lesotho (GoL) has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) for the implementation of the Lesotho e-Government Infrastructure Phase II Project and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for provision of consultancy services for the Team Assistant.
- The overall objective of the project is to drive digital finance and financial inclusion by improving access to reliable digital Services, particularly among citizens living in rural and unserved areas. The aim is to provide access to a diverse range of financial products and services for individuals as well as small, medium and large businesses through the expansion of digital infrastructure and services, which will lead to creating jobs, and contributing to Lesotho’s economic growth.
- The services included under this assignment:
- Coordinate time management and schedules, taking current and future priorities into account, anticipate and monitor changes, and communicate the information.
- Answer internal and external queries on the assigned portfolio or, as necessary, take accurate and comprehensive telephone messages, and route them to appropriate persons to handle.
- Use desktop processing skills to produce complex texts, reports, presentations, charts, figures, graphs, etc., according to AfDB format.
- Draft minutes of staff meetings
- The Ministry of Information, Communications, Science Technology, and Innovation now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide CVs that they are qualified and have skills to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions).
- Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy and Methodology for the African Development Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
- Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours 08:30 to 16:00 GMT +2, Mondays to Fridays.
- Expressions of interest must be delivered by mail electronically or physically in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Expression of Interest – Provision of consultancy services for the Team Assistant” to the address indicated below by Friday 24 November 2023 at 12:00 Noon.
