The American International School of Lesotho is a Preschool to Grade 8, non-profit making school that caters to local and expatriate families in Maseru, who wish to give the children an American style education. The school is accredited with the Middle States Association in the United States. We are also a member of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA).
Applications are now open for the following teaching positions commencing August 2023;
Kindergarten Teacher – (Early Years)
Elementary Teachers – (Grade 1-Grade 5)
Applications are welcome if you have relevant experience and possess the following:
– All candidates need to possess qualifications in Education or a specialist degree with post graduate studies in Education.
– All candidates must be familiar with the process of differentiated instruction and inquiry based learning models.
– An understanding of the importance of 21st Century Learning and preparing children for the future Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience Only candidates with experience will be considered
– Kindergarten position-an understanding of play based learning would be an advantage
– Successful candidates will need to be able to motivate and encourage the best from students.
