TEACHING INTERNSHIP (PRIMARY) – 3 MONTHS
Sepheo School is offering a teaching internship. Sepheo is a bridging primary school for children who are far behind in their education and who have suffered trauma and exclusion. Our students have unique educational and social needs, as well as learning acceptable behaviour standards.
We require the following in our desired candidate: extra patience, flexibility, creativity and to have a nurturing spirit. Someone with the ability to make learning fun and meet our students “where they are” emotionally, socially, psychologically as well as allowing them to learn at their individual pace.
What experience is preferred?
Experience in teaching or tutoring children is sought, and love for children is mandatory. Teaching qualification may be an added advantage but may not be a necessary basis for hiring.

They are deeply passionate about learning, students and the learning process.They need to embrace change and doing things in a different way. We are highly focused on providing a trauma-sensitive environment hence we are looking for a teacher who will play a significant role in supporting not only a young person’s academic development but also their healthy social-emotional development as well.

This role includes a stipend.
Qualifications/Experience: Any tutoring experience/passion may be accepted in lieu of qualifications
Location: Motimposo, Sparletta (next to Motimposo Primary School)
Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00- 5:00.
