• Must be registered with TSD (Teaching Services Department)
Duties and Responsibilities :
• Cultivate a hunger for knowledge among students and engage them in learning.
• Encourage curiosity and continued improvement.
• Help set goals for learners and work with them to attain those goals.
• Keep an organized and orderly classroom that promotes creativity and learning.
• Keep track of attendance and ensure students are attending and participating in class.
• Assist students one-on-one who need extra assistance.
• Enforce administration and school-wide policies.
• Discipline students (according to school policy) when necessary.
• Be active in the school community and events.
• Participate in teaching training sessions and stay up-to-date with current teaching methods, practices, and any new knowledge in your field.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of students’ progress.
• Behave in a professional manner regarding work.
• Be open to continuous professional development.
• Participate in extracurricular activities.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks that the school head/line manager determines.
• Show loyalty to all facets of Lesedi Private Academy.
