T.Y. Supplementary Centre: Online Educator Application Form
Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated online teachers to instruct supplementary students in LGCSE Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Accounting. The ideal candidates must have a passion for education, a deep understanding of the LGCSE curriculum, and the ability to engage students in a virtual learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery:
- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive online lessons following the LGCSE curriculum for Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Accounting.
- Use multimedia resources and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Assessment and Feedback:
- Create and administer assessments to evaluate students’ understanding of the subjects.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
- Student Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive online learning environment.
- Encourage active participation and collaboration among students.
- Individualized Support:
- Offer additional support to students who may require extra assistance.
- Conduct one-on-one sessions to address individual learning needs.
- Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with students and school administrators.
- Provide updates on student progress and performance.
- Professional Development:
- Stay current with educational trends and advancements in the subjects.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Technology Proficiency:
- Demonstrate proficiency in using online teaching platforms and tools.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure smooth virtual classroom experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, relevant subject area, or related field.
- Teaching certification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience teaching LGCSE curriculum preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Be available to work and support students Monday to Friday (8a.m. to 9p.m.) and Saturday (8a.m. to 3p.m.)
- A perfectly working smartphone.
- A laptop or desktop computer with the following MINIMUM specifications (Intel Core i3 7th generation with 8GB RAM or Intel Core i5 6th generation with 8GB RAM).
- Headphones with a microphone.
- Live an area with reliable high-speed internet connection (Data will be provided).
- Ability to create engaging and interactive virtual lessons.
- SUPPLEMENTARY on the job technical training will be provided.
