Reporting to: School Principal
The primary role of the Teacher is to ensure that teaching and learning of children is done. She/he should positively influence the academic, spiritual, moral and physical development of the child, through applying effective and creative teaching methods, and through creating a stimulating learning environment.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Provide the Children with a High Standard of Education
• Ensure the Educational Development of SOS Children
• Be a “Leader” of the class and School premises
• Create a Stimulating Learning Environment at School
• Promote the role of the Family & Create a Family Environment within the class
• Develop own Teaching Skills
• Understand the SOS Organisation
QUALIFICATION:
• Diploma in Primary Education
• Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in teaching
• Having taught at English Medium School is an advantage
