The American International School of Lesotho is a Preschool to Grade 8, non-profit School that caters to local and expatriate families in Maseru, who wish to give their children an American style education. The school is accredited with the Middles States Association in the United States. We are also a member of the Association of international Schools in Africa (AlSA).
Applications are now open for the following teaching positions commencing August 2022;
- Learning Support (special needs) and English Language Support (Early Years – Grade)
- Elementary Teachers (multiple positions available) (Grade 1 – Grade 5)
Do not apply unless you have relevant experience and possess the following: - All candidates need to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Special Needs, or a specialist degree with post graduate studies in Education
- All candidates must be familiar with the process of differentiated instruction and inquiry based learning models
- An understanding of 21st Century Learning skills and preparing children for the future
- Minimum of 2 years experience- Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered
- Learning Support – Proven experience in assessing and diagnosing student needs across the school as well documenting and monitoring students receiving support
