Recruitment and Selection

Support current business needs through the recruitment, selection, engagement, motivation and retention of human capital. Asses the Recruitment SOP for both new and current employees to ensure company all goals achieved. Design and manage the Promotion SOP for all employees. Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs. Oversee new interview and selection process. Review suitable candidates to ensure the success of the position. Review recruitment related reports and submit to HR Executive. Check and sign off of new employee packs.

Approve and check agency invoices


HR Project Management

Develop and/or administer special projects in areas such as performance management, change management, organizational development and related.

To plan, organize and implement ad hoc HR Projects, as required. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.


Employment Equity and Legislative Reporting

Driving Employment Equity plans and Skills plans in line with the strategic business plans. Monitor and prepare submission of annual employment equity report and DOL reporting. Manage, facilitate, prepare, monitor and submit BBBEE information. Manage and oversee WSP submissions


Transformational

Driving and implementing strategic Human Resource initiatives .To provide input in the formulation and implementation of HR strategy, as required.

Oversee the evaluation of salary survey classification and rating of occupations and job positions as well as equal work for equal pay policy.


Payroll and Employee Benefits Management

Manager and Monitor payroll to ensure effective processing of all salaries and benefits. Facilitate BCEA and NBCRFLI payroll effectiveness. Approval of all Acting agreements and salary advances. Facilitation and approval of employee AOD’s. Oversee effective implementation of all NBCRFLI requirements.


Employee Relations

Overview of related IR problem areas in the business.

Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, and other issues. Facilitate and bargaining agreements and help interpret labour contracts. Be able to represent the organisation in conciliation, arbitration and collective bargaining hearings. Management and employee relations by addressing demands. Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling.


General

Sound knowledge with the BCEA, LRA, EE, various Unions, RFA, NBCRFLI to lead discussion and meeting. Approval of all HR related service providers SLA and vendor agreements. To ensure HR data integrity for the operation, on an ongoing basis, as per system standards. To ensure continuous compliance to legislation, policies and procurement within the division.

To provide leadership and support to operational HR staff, as required.

Use data and analysis to solve real-world HR problems and propose solutions

Demonstrate advanced financial management and budgeting skills.

Oversee and check all HR related reports

Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

Preparing weekly and monthly reporting for executives

Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
