About the Position
Dimagi is looking for a Talent Coordinator to join our growing talent team. This role can be based out of our office in Cape Town, South Africa, but is also open to working remotely from within South Africa.
You will join our global Talent team within People Operations and are someone who has excellent attention to detail, strong organization skills, and a love for building teams through an administrative function. You are interested in working in administration or recruitment long-term.
This is an entry-level role, and the Talent Coordinator will be extensively trained and onboarded on Dimagi’s recruiting processes and software.
We are seeking someone who is highly organized, enjoys connecting with candidates, exudes a positive attitude, and genuinely loves helping Dimagi build our global impact-focused team.
What You’ll Do

  • Interview Scheduling: Use our applicant tracking system (ATS), Greenhouse, to schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers across all time zones.
  • Candidate Communication: communicate with candidates via email, ATS generated texts and virtually to create a positive candidate experience. This includes providing updates to candidates on their application status.
  • Cross-team Communication: develop internal relationships and communicate effectively with hiring managers across various departments and teams.
  • ATS Expert: You will become an expert in our ATS, Greenhouse, and will help ensure hiring teams are utilizing the software properly. This will include fielding employee questions about the ATS.
  • ATS Maintenance: You will ensure the ATS is kept up-to-date through periodic reviews of our data.
  • Job Posting: post job postings to internal and external job boards.
  • Reference Checks: Gather references when Dimagi is ready to make an offer.
  • Offer Letter creation in ATS and sending finalized offers to candidates.
  • Reporting: Pull and analyze recruiting reports weekly with assistance from the greater talent team

What You Must Bring

  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to prioritize effectively to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, both with candidates and internally
  • Technical aptitude: you will need to learn our ATS, Greenhouse, and be fluent in using Google Apps
  • Excitement to join a small, global people operations team
  • Eligible to work in South Africa

Bonus Points

  • Prior internship or work experience in talent acquisition or administrative support
  • A desire to work in recruitment or HR long-term
  • Previous experience working across various time zones.
  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, such as Greenhouse
  • Previous experience with Google Apps, such as Gmail, GSheets, and GDocs

Compensation and Benefits:
We aim to make a difference, not just as a company but also as an employer. We are transparent about salaries at all levels of the organization and have a standard, global pay scale for all positions that is non-negotiable. The salary for this position is 345,174 ZAR annually.
