Key responsibilities:
• Provide Human Resource framework and ensure accessibility to all employees.
• Review and develop efficient administrative systems and management for best Talent practices
• To provide a consultative service to all employees and management.
• Facilitate, manage and control all elements of the recruitment and selection cycle.
• Engage with line management in discussion with the implementation of the recruitment strategy (role profiling, methods of recruiting, etc.);
• Act as a ‘change agent’ to ensure that we attract, develop and retain our staff.
• Performance management, further to which you will be required to manage career path, succession planning and identify skills gap, in consultation with the Operations Manager and the Chief Talent Officer.
• To advise and train and give guidance to employees and managers on Talent processes.
• Ensure accurate management of information to be provided to the Payroll Officer on a monthly basis. (Overtime, allowances, etc.)
• Management of DDPR related and Employee Relations matters.
• Provide accurate monthly & weekly reports to management.
• Ensure effective implementation and adherence of Talent policies.
• Demonstrate strategic HR / Talent knowledge and understanding of business objectives and practices.
• Participate in various projects in consultation with the Human Resource Manager.
Experience and qualifications:
• Degree in Psychology/ Human Resources Management
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist
• Must have an extensive knowledge of legistation, Labour Relations Act and HR / Talent best practices.
• A post graduate programme in Advanced Labour Law will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to travel
• Must have a reliable car with a valid code 10 Driver’s license
