We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Talent Acquisition leader to help bring our recruiting strategy to the next level. This role reports to the VP of Talent Acquisition and will build and lead a team of experienced recruiters to support our Consumer Direct Channel.

You will be a part of a transformative culture and be backed by one of the strongest, most supportive and technical mortgage banking leadership teams in the industry.

  • ADVOCATE: Become an ambassador and partner for the departments you are assigned to recruiting for. You are responsible for embedding yourself in the department and to fully understand, identify, and articulate their hiring needs.
  • CAPTURE MANAGEMENT: Uncanny ability to create a candidate rapport, build trust and help drive the talent. Must be able to commit to sourcing, screening, qualifying the right candidates in a fast-paced environment. Use external sourcing tools like Indeed, LinkedIn and NMLS.
  • AMBASSADOR: It is imperative you can capture the culture of the company. You must be passionate about people, an active listener, and with a 100% “doer” attitude.
  • TRACKING: Utilize current applicant tracking system (Taleo) along with social media collaboration and internal assessment tools to create a great candidate recruiting experience.
  • MARKET/ BRANDING: Adhere to company compliance and regulations while using social media recruiting tools such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Snapchat.

  • 2+ years of full cycle recruiting experience (experience may be substituted with military experience and/or a degree.).
  • Proven track record of driving recruitment through various recruiting strategies.
  • Ability to utilize vast networking channels through social media.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); Taleo preferred.
  • Mortgage industry knowledge is required.
  • Must have strong negotiation skills, excellent resolution and facilitation skills.
  • Able to make “cold calls” and have superb phone etiquette.
  • Excellent at building relationships with hiring managers, current employees and external candidates.
  • Able to present and conduct weekly and monthly reports.
  • You must always be the face of Cardinal and the epitome of the culture.
  • Be extremely “tech savvy” and able to think outside the box at all times.
