Position Title: Systems Support Engineer
Reference: SSE
Purpose
To ensure the effective operation, reliability, and performance of enterprise-level software applications and end-user systems by providing technical support and stakeholder relationship management.
Areas of Responsibility Include:
- Providing technical support and maintenance of enterprise-level applications, in alignment with SLA requirements with stakeholders (e.g., ERP system)
- Undertaking and supervising the installation and maintenance of software applications
- Managing acquisition, distribution, and disposal of end-user equipment
- Monitoring applications performance, availability, and logs
- Ensuring applications’ compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity controls
- Delivering end-user support
- Implementing and maintaining high availability (clustering) architecture for production systems and applications integrations
- Planning and implementing backup/restore functions
- Installing updates and upgrades on relevant systems
- Optimizing software applications performance and benefits realization

Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in software applications
