System Administrator
Location: Head Office (Maseru)
Reports to: IT Managers
Purpose of the Job
Ensure that the organization’s core banking systems are fully operational and functional in line with service level requirements. Support for client facing systems: Online banking, Mobile Apps, POSs, ATMs, etc. through proper Incident and Change management processes.
Outputs required
- Ensuring that the organization’s core banking systems are fully operational and functional in line with service level requirements.
- Facilitate smooth deployments and changes on all banking systems from new request submission to production migration.
- Propose and implement improvements by monitoring and reviewing performance, throughput, availability, and exceptional incidents.
- Monitor the trends of systems activity by working with senior colleagues to agree on policies for future system enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to relevant policies, standards and procedures when conducting all changes on banking.
- Identify remedial and/or enhancement actions by providing and analyzing MIS information.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: IT degree or equivalent
- Preferred: Degree in Computer Science
Experience
- 3-5 years IT industry with 2-3 of these years in ESM
