(A joint venture among SINOHYDRO BUREAU 8 CO., LTD., SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD., UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD., and NTHANE BROTHERS PTY LTD.)
SUN JV is the honourable Contractor for the Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works under the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.
The project entails construction of a concrete-faced rockfill dam at Polihali, approximately 1km downstream of the confluence of the Khubelu and Senqu (Orange) Rivers, a Saddle Dam, and a gravity tunnel connecting Polihali Reservoir to the Katse Reservoir.
Applications are hereby invited from suitable candidates for the following position:
SURVEYOR (2 Positions)
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, or equivalent disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
Experience & Competencies
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software (total stations, GPS receivers, CAD programs).
• Strong mathematical, analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of land surveying techniques, legal principles, and relevant regulations.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Experience on large construction projects is an added advantage.
• Applicants should provide relevant documentation demonstrating their ability.
