INVITATION TO TENDER

Subject: Supply of Vehicles
1. Introduction
The Ministry of Natural Resources, through its departments—Administration, Mining, Water, Water Affairs, and Lesotho Lowlands Water Supply Scheme Unit (LLWSSU)—has received funds from the Government of Lesotho (GOL) for the procurement of vehicles.
Therefore, the Ministry invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for the supply of vehicles.
2. Tender Issuance and Submission
- Tender Issue Date: 07 July 2025
- Closing Date and Time: 13 August 2025 at 10:00 AM
Competent bidders are invited to participate in this tender.
- Tender documents are available at the Department of Rural Water Supply (Procurement Unit) for a non-refundable fee of M500.00 (Five Hundred Maloti).
- Documents will be issued from Thursday, 7 July until Wednesday, 6 August 2025.
Payment Method:
- Payable in cash at the Ministry of Natural Resources (DRWS) Accounts Office, located at Railway Station next to WASCO Offices.
- The official receipt issued by the Accounts Office must be presented to the DRWS Procurement Unit to collect the tender documents.
Bid Submission Instructions:
- Submit one (1) original and four (4) hard copies.
- Deliver bids to the Ministry’s Tender Box, situated next to the Ministerial Boardroom, Bokamoso Business Suite, 2nd Floor, Orpen Road, opposite Centre for Accounting Studies, Maseru.
- Submission deadline: 13 August 2025 at 10:00 AM.
Sealed Envelope Requirements:
- Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing no identification of the bidder,
- Clearly marked:
“Supply of Vehicles REF: MNR/VEHICLES/2025/2026”
Bid Opening:
- All tenders will be opened on Wednesday, 13 August 2025 at 10:30 AM,
- Venue: Ministry of Natural Resources Ministerial Boardroom, Bokamoso Business Suite, 2nd Floor, Orpen Road, opposite Centre for Accounting Studies, Maseru.
