Supply of Personal Protective Equipment

IFP NO: NDSO/PRE-QUAL/PPE/2020/11

1. The National Drug Service Organization (NDSO) is a Trading Account for the Ministry of Health in Lesotho. It is mandated to procure, store and distribute Medicines, Medical Supplies and Laboratory Consumables for the Health Institutions in Lesotho. NDSO was legally established through a gazette Supplement No.4 to Gazette No.19 of the 2nd March 2007. The Government Hospitals use their allocated funds for drugs, dressings and other allocations to buy the supplies from NDSO. These funds are used by NDSO to Procure Medicines, Medical Supplies and other Health Sector Goods from eligible Suppliers using the tendering method of procurement. NDSO now intends to pre-qualify suppliers and/or firms for the supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
2. Prequalification will be in adherence to the current Public Procurement (Amendment) Regulations of 2018 section 15 (1).
3. Interested parties may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification documents at the address below from 0800 to 1630 hours except weekends and holidays. A complete set of prequalification documents in English may be sent electronically free of charge to interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below.

5. It is expected that all applicants will be notified about the outcome of the prequalification process, whether they are prequalified or not, on or before 18^th December 2020. Those pre-qualified will be invited to bid for the supply and delivery of PPE under framework contracts.
