SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, CONFIGURATION, COMMISSIONING, MIGRATION OF DATA AND APPLICATIONS, AND DECOMMISSIONING OF SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE.
Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) intends to upgrade its Information Technology environment through the procurement of one new server hardware for Database Server (DB Server), and a Virtual Machine for an Active Directory Server (AD Server).
Based on the above background, the LTDC invites registered interested and experienced IT Vendors to supply, install, configure, commission, and decommission server hardware.
1.0 The scope of the work include:
i. The supply Dell Server, configuration, installation of Microsoft Windows Server License 2022 and other applications, data backup, and secure data transfer, and decommissioning of server hardware.
ii. Provisioning as Virtual Machine for Application Server
iii. Configuration of a server rack
iv. Testing, and health check of the upgraded server environment
2.0. Project Schedule
The project schedule is expected to be completed within a maximum of 6 weeks from the date of contract signing.
3.0 Evaluation Criteria
The following criteria will be used to evaluate tenders:
i. Technical competence and experience: Demonstrated expertise in server infrastructure refurbishment, data migration, and Active
Directory implementation. (40%)
ii. Proposed project plan: Clarity, detail, and feasibility of the proposed project plan. (10%)
iii. Pricing: Competitive pricing and breakdown of cost. (40%)
iv. Warranty and support: Duration of warranty and level of post-implementation support. (10%)
4.0 Submission of the Expression of Interest must include:
- Technical proposal specifying similar work performed, profiles and CV’s of technical staff, clear methodology, and timeframes
- Financial Proposal
- Valid copies of current tax clearance certificate
- Traders license or certificate of Incorporation (if not Lesotho Registered) must be submitted with the bid.
- One page letter of introduction identifying the proponent (proponent’s name and physical address together with contact details;
contact person, telephone number and e-mail address) and signed by the person or persons authorized to sign on behalf of and bind the
proponent to statements made in the tender.
5.0 Important dates:
5.0.1 Compulsory site visit on Friday the 6th December 2024
5.0.2 Submission Deadline: 10th January 2025 at 12h00, and tenders will be opened on the same day in front of the registered bidders.
6.0. Terms and Conditions - Contractual Agreement: The successful bidder will be required to sign a contract outlining the scope of work, project timeline, payment terms, and other relevant conditions.
- Payment Terms: Payment will be made upon completion of milestones outlined in the project plan.
- Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights related to the project will remain the property of the client.

- Technical specifications for server hardware: This document will provide detailed specifications for the new Dell server.
- Existing server configuration: This document will outline the current configuration of the existing servers.
