The Principal Secretary, Ministry of Education and Training now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Science Equipment and Chemicals .
For the purpose of this Bid Invitation, eligible Bidders are defined as those Bidders who are manufacturers and or suppliers of equipment and Chemicals products based and registered in the Kingdom of Lesotho as well as foreign manufacturers/ suppliers.
All bids must be accompanied by bid securities.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Unit EFU, Senior Procurement Officer (Mr. Nkalai [email protected] or Mrs. Tlalane Pebane Assistant Procurement Officer email [email protected] and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the address 1 given.
4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of M1000.00 or equivalent in a convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash only, payable at the accounts department, Administration Block, Ministry of Education and Training Headquarters, located next to ECoL building (white building) near the traffic lights. The document will be collected from Procurement Unit or sent by courier if so required by the bidder.
5. Bids must be delivered to the address 2 below on or before 08th December, 2021 at 11:00hrs. Electronic bidding will notbe permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who may choose to attend at the address 2 below on the same date (December 08, 2021) at 11:30hrs.
6. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securityas follows: M8,000.00 per Lot

8. Bidders must be aware that there will be a Pre-bid meeting held at Procurement Unit, EFU, Site 130 Fokothi, Off Moshoeshoe Road Procurement Unit, EFU, Site 130 Fokothi, Off Moshoeshoe Road located in the building opposite National Curriculum Development Centre as indicated under Address 1 above on November 09, 2021 at 10:00am.
