1. Background
The Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the World Bank for the LLWDP-II and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply, Delivery and Registration of Two (2) Vehicles for the Project Implementation Unit.
Payments will be processed using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except where the contract specifies payment via letter of credit.
2. Invitation to Bid
The Ministry of Natural Resources invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply, Delivery and Registration of Two (2) Vehicles for the LLWDP-II Project Implementation Unit.
3. Procurement Method
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using Request for Quotations (RFQ), in accordance with the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services), revised editions:

This process is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

6. Bid Security
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of LSL 76,000.00 (Seventy-Six Thousand Lesotho Loti) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency, in the form of a Bank Guarantee (template provided in the RFQ document).
