- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online of 26th January 2023, the African Development Bank Group’s Website, Sunday Express Newspaper of 29th January 2023 and Public Eye Newspaper of 3rd February 2023.
- The Kingdom of Lesotho has received Financing from the African Development Fund in various currencies towards the cost of Lesotho Lowlands Water Development and Sanitation Project Phase III, it is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for supply, delivery and Installation of Early Warning System.
- The Ministry of Natural Resources Department of Water now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply, delivery and installation of Early Warning System which is divided into two lots as follows:
- Lot 1: Hydrometic Stations and Water Quality Monitoring Equipment
- Lot 2: Automated Agro-Meteorological (Agromet) Station
- Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding National (OCBN) method as specified in the Banks Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations dated October 2015 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement framework.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain more information or inspect bidding documents at the below address.
- A complete set of bidding document in English can be obtained by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below.
- Bids must be delivered to: Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Project III, Development House LNDC Block D Level 6 Constitution Road Maseru on or before 3rd October 2023 at 10: 30hrs. Bids will be opened publicly on the same day at 11:00hrs in the presence of Bidders designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address above. Electronic bidding will not be permitted and late bids will be rejected.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing declaration.
