Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to prioritize and drive performance improvements that will have substantial impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to customers, by challenging the status quo, coaching, and embedding a mindset of continuous improvement to achieve performance excellence.
You are responsible for

Managing the deployment and embedding of new critical capabilities and standardized ways of working brought by the ISC transformation in line with customer needs

Focusing on productivity planning & execution and E2E view of value chain efficiency & effectiveness

Maintaining Operational Excellence methodology and tools on one or more specific areas.

Coaching Lean Masters by sharing, implementing and sustaining best practices across deployment sites and across sectors

Calibrating, assessing and coaching the organization in determining Operational Excellence Maturity.

Encouraging engagement through BG Operations & Functional leaders to ensure stakeholder buy in.

Striving to identify and improve cost saving opportunities by streamlining processes

Working together with ISC leadership to implement improvement plans

Contributing to the implementation of new critical capabilities and standardized ways of working

Maintaining Operational Excellence methodology and tools on one or more specific areas.

Assessing the organization in determining Operational Excellence Maturity.

Ensuring kaizen events – six sigma projects are properly planned / executed / sustained

Supporting the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools, the CI methodology, Kaizen events and Problem Solving as a way to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory within their assigned

You are a part of the Commercial Operations Team for Health Systems in Southern Africa and work closely with commercial and Supply Chain Teams and 3rd party suppliers to drive the E2E Operational Excellence.

You will report to Services Operation Manager, Health Systems for Southern Africa.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering required, MBA is preferred

Minimum 5 years’ related experience (for Bachelor degree) or 3 years’ related experience (for Master degree)

Proven track record in driving Excellence Practices, esp. Lean, Continuous Improvement

Experience in supporting a program or project across departments and Change Management

Experience in Change Management, empathy & Interpersonal skills

Strong influence skill in managing different stakeholders

Problem Solving techniques and methodologies to deliver breakthrough
