Supply Chain Manager – Ref: SCM

To contribute to the effective management of the entire supply chain process from planning and procurement to storage and delivery, while ensuring value for money and maintaining quality control.

Areas of Responsibility
• Ensuring procurement policies and procedures are in place, relevant, updated and consistently applied
• Promoting transparency and fairness in procurement processes
• Supporting other departments in following procurement policies
• Contributing to long-term and short-term procurement strategies
• Maintaining strong sourcing capability for contracts and framework agreements
• Developing tender documentation and guiding budget preparation
• Ensuring segregation of duties, coaching staff and conducting performance reviews
• Establishing clear reporting lines and promoting transparency in supply chain activities
• Overseeing procurement of goods and services and ensuring compliance
• Establishing framework agreements with suppliers
• Documenting procurement financial savings
• Coordinating Tender Committee activities and serving as Secretary

Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field
• CIPS Certification Level 4 to 6 will be an added advantage

Experience
• Three years serving in Procurement Committees or Panels as Secretary
• Inventory management experience
• Proven supply chain operations experience
• Strategic sourcing and running complex tenders
