PROJECT NAME: SUPPLY AND FITTING OF A FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO THE ROADS DIRECTORATE

  1. The Roads Directorate intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to fund eligible payment under the Contract, RD/FTS-1/2023, for the “Supply and Fi ng of a Fleet Management System to the Roads Directorate.”
  2. The Roads Directorate now invites proposals from eligible suppliers to provide the following
    services: Supply and Fi ng of a Fleet Management System to the Roads Directorate. The details of the tender are set out in the enclosed Terms of Reference (Section V).
  3. All suppliers to the Lesotho Government are expected to be in compliance with their tax obligations. They should therefore attach copies of valid Tax Clearance Certificates, copies of Traders License/Registration Certificate, all certified at source.
  4. There will be a compulsory pre-tender meeting to be held at Roads Directorate Groundfloor Boardroom, on Tuesday, 20th June 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
  5. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and delivery must be in Lesotho Malo and shall remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of the Bid.
  6. The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Two Thousand Maloti (LSL 2,000.00). The method of payment will be by transfer or deposit into the following Bank Account: Roads Directorate
    Operating Revenue Account, Account No.: 021000067633, Swift Code: NEDLLSMX, Branch Code: 390161, Nedbank, Lesotho
    and proof therefore be presented to the Roads Directorate. Facility shall be made available for purchasing of the tender documents by POS/swiping at the Finance Division (Room G03), Roads Directorate Headquarters.
  7. Bidding Documents must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Five Thousand Malo (M5,000.00) in the form of a Bank Guarantee addressed to “Roads Directorate” which must be a ached.
  8. Completed Bid documents (1 original, 1 copy and a so copy in a memory stick of the Proposals are to be enclosed in an envelope containing separate plain sealed envelopes (that is one inner envelope labelled “ORIGINAL” and another inner envelope labelled “COPY
    plus memory stick”) bearing no identification of the Bidder and the outer envelope also marked as follows; “SUPPLY AND FITTING OF A FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO ROADS DIRECTORATE” must be deposited in the Tender Box at Roads Directorate, Ground Floor, Room G11, Near the Procurement Sec on, Corner Senate and Lepoqo Roads, Industrial Area and addressed to Roads Directorate at the above address, to be received on or before 12:00 Noon, Thursday, 13th July 2023. Late Bids will be rejected.
    Bids will be opened the same day at 14:30hrs by the Roads Directorate’s Tender Board, in the presence of the Bidders or their representaves who choose to a end.
