The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the the African Development Bank and the Global Environment Facility-Least Developed Countries Fund (GEF LCDF) hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Lesotho Lowlands Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project (LLRWSSP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Hydrometric Equipment for Department of Water Affairs.
The Ministry of Water (Commission of Water) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of Hydrometric Equipment for Department of Water Affairs as detailed in the bidding document and summarized as follows:

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) method as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework , and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Water (Commission of Water), Lijane Nthunya (Procurement Specialist) email: [email protected] or Thabiso Tšasane (Project Coordinator) [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given in 8 below.
The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of LSL500.00 or equivalent in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash deposit or electronic transfer into the following account: Account No.: 0101403715016, Customer Name: Lesotho Government Bank: Central Bank of Lesotho, Reference: IFB No.: AfDB/LRWSSP/G02A. The document can be collected by the bidder from the address indicated in 8 below or will be sent by courier if the bidder so requires.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before June 21, 2021 at14h15. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on June 21, 2021 at 14h30.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration in the format/form indicated in the Bidding Document.
