Supervisor
Position Overview
Asia Garments (Pty) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of quality garments. The company is seeking a results-driven and people-oriented Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure that production targets and quality standards are met.
Main Purpose
To supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and safety standards while leading and supporting a team to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, motivate, and discipline team members to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
- Ensure quality standards and production procedures are followed.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance of team members.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to improve skills and productivity.
- Report production progress, challenges, and any issues to the Line Manager.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organised work environment.
- Ensure the proper use and care of machines, tools, and materials.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role within a garment or manufacturing environment.
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (Sesotho is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
