Mokhotlong, Thaba Tseka, & Quthing
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned positions. The positions are tenable in Mokhotlong, Thaba Tseka & Quthing and the incumbents may be expected to work in any of the three districts. The incumbents will be responsible to the respective Regional Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
• BSc Electrical Engineering or B Tech Electrical Engineering.
EXPIERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.
• Maintenance of High Voltage equipment e.g lines & sub-stations
• Knowledge of National & International electrical codes and standards.
• Knowledge of budgeting process and budgetary control.
• Computer Literacy
• Must have a valid driver’s licence

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Amongst other things, the incumbent will be responsible for performing the following:
• Adhering to network maintenance plans and schedules.
• Carrying out root – cause analysis on network faults and rectifying them.
• Communicating and enforcing construction standards to private contractors.
• Coordinating network switching and load transfers.
• Designing extensions/ system improvements for network strengthening.
• Validating survey sheets, preparing and approving service connections quotations as well as quotations for relocation and damaged LEC network.
• Implementing service connections to meet set targets.
• Identifying network weak points and proposing system improvements.
• Authorising material requisitions for service connections, faults rectifications and planned maintenance.
• Enforcing adherence to safety rules and regulations.
• Providing support to SHEQ committee.
• Preparing reports and carrying out standby duties.
• Leading and coordinating respective area activities.
