Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned positions. The position is tenable at the Head Office in Maseru. The incumbent will be responsible to the Section Engineer Planning and Projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in Electrical Engineering Plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• Report writing skill is a critical requirement.
• Computer literacy is highly critical e.g. knowledge of Microsoft Project & MS Excel.
• Valid driver’s licence
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following:
• Manage the Service Connections Unit to enhance the overall performance of the Unit
• Prepare Service Connections Unit Budget
• Manage utilization of approved Service Connections Unit Budget
• Receive and Validate completed Service Connections jobs payments Certificates
• Authenticate invoices for and Sign claims <M30,000 for completed and validated jobs
• Facilitate meter commissioning of newly connected customers by metering department and forward copy to customer services for information
• Validate As-Built drawings
• Address Individual customers Service Connection job related queries from Contractors Supervisors and coordinate with survey office for solutions
• Address Contractors Service Connection job related queries from Contractors Supervisors and coordinate with survey office for solutions
• Prepare Projects Section Monthly Reports on Surveys and Service Connections that mostly reflects on set LEWA Performance Targets
• Facilitate Filling and archiving of all completed jobs
