Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Student Engagement Officer located in the Maseru District, Lesotho. The Student Engagement Officer will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating student engagement activities, organizing shadowing opportunities, and managing mentorship programs. Responsibilities include planning events, maintaining communication with students and scientists, and providing support to ensure successful program delivery. The role involves collaborating with partners, tracking student progress, and reporting on outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience in event planning and coordination, strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage and motivate students
- Knowledge of STEM fields, familiarity with research and mentorship practices
- Proficiency in using digital tools for data tracking and reporting
