Introduction
Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letšeng is looking for suitable candidates for the position of STORES SUPERINTENDENT.
Duties & Responsibilities
To manage the design, planning, execution, control and monitoring of the inventory management and warehousing activies with the objective of creating value to meet operational requirements and to ensure efficient inventory management, timely availability of materials, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Desired Qualification, Experience Skills & Competencies
Bachelors Degree in supply chain management or related field. A completed qualification in CIPS would be an added advantage.
5 years relevent experience in inventory management and warehousing in a mining environment
Knowledge and understanding of inventory and warehouse management theory, principles and techniques, with proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office. Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills. Leadership and team management. Attention to detail and accuracy.
