Required Qualifications
– Diploma in Business Studies or Diploma in Logistics/Stores and Material Management/Procurement Management/Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience progression and other requirements
– A minimum of 2 years’ experience in stores or Accounting environment
– Must have a valid driver’s license
– Computer literacy is essential
– Methodical and disciplined approach to work
– Customer care oriented
– Excellent interpersonal and personal skills
Key Performance Areas
– Receiving and recording all requisition received
– Verifying and checking deliveries and invoices for total accuracy
– Issuing stock materials as per approved requisitions
– Monitoring stock levels and producing reports
– Compiling all allocated jobs for picking slips processing
– Capturing purchases orders for allocated jobs
– Facilitating material release to contractors
– Preparing requisitions in relevant system
– Checking and maintaining a record of issued material
– Capturing stock material invoices into the financial system
– Reconciling and updating material records
– Maintaining store rooms in an acceptable and orderly manner
