Stores Clerk (3 Positions) In the Finance Division

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned positions. The incumbents will report to the Stores Controller. The positions are tenable at LEC Headquarters in Maseru.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A Diploma in Business Studies or Diploma in Stores/Procurement Management.

EXPIERIENCE PROGRESSION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• A Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in procurement.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Excellent interpersonal and personal skills.
• Methodical and disciplined approach to work.
• Customer care oriented.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Extremely organised.
• Good reporting skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The incumbents will be responsible for performing the following:

• Receiving delivered stock materials from suppliers.
• Verifying and checking deliveries and invoices for total accuracy.
• Issuing stock materials to the electrical contractors, faults and maintenance teams and other LEC stores depots.
• Receiving and processing requisitions from user departments.
• Checking and maintaining a record of issued material.
• Capturing stock material invoices into the financial system.
• Updating picking sequences in ACCPAC.
• Maintaining store rooms in an acceptable and orderly manner
