Department: Afriski Strategic Maintenance workshop
We are looking for an eager, hard-working professional with determination to fulfil the duties of a workshop store man. With maintenance related expertise, this candidate will manage the maintenance store room and keep track of all equipment travels.
Education, Experience and Knowledge:
– Grade 12
– Relevant Experience in the required field.
– Knowledge of Construction materials and equipment.
– Knowledge of Waterworks materials and equipment.
– Knowledge of Electrical materials and equipment.
– Knowledge of Sewerage materials and equipment.
– Planning and maintaining of materials (Stock Controlling).
– Requesting of quotes.
– Admin: RFQ’s, Filling, Computer skills
Responsibilities:
– Maintain whole workshop
– Control stored material
– Control stored tools
– Control receiving of material
– Allocate stock and materials
– Monthly stock take
– Inspect, clean and service tools and materials when returned to store room
– Maintain workshop safety
– Assist with quote requests
– Capturing and allocate tickets and manage task completion to ensure all materials are captured on every ticket.
Personal Attributes:
– Excellent verbal and written Communication skills in English and at least 1 African language.
– Good listening skills to understand and carry out instructions correctly and accurately.
– Ability to carry out Physical work per standards and routines and work in all-weather types.
– Vibrant and friendly personality.
– Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines. Willing and able to work overtime when required.
– Smart, clean, and neat personal presentation.
– Able to maintain confidentiality.
