PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To undertake works in connection with the issuing of store’s inventory and the maintenance of stock, to include purchase orders and receiving goods. To carry out issuing of stock to internal customers- user departments.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE
• COSC / LGCSE or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Warehouse/stores/procurement environment
• Exposure to materials buying in a mining environment
• Experience on inventory software systems
• Experience on Sage application
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Applications (Advanced Level)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accurate and timeous reporting to improve decision making
• Implementation of quality controls to safeguard the assets of the Company
• Identify risks and reporting on them to reduce Company risk. Active participation in planning activities
• Activity based costing of inter-mine processes
• Creates and Receives Orders
• Stores daily reporting on Inventory and Diesel
• Compiling monthly management reports
• Receive, unload, and packing stock
• Inventory and cost analysis and variance report
• Perform Weekly stock counts and investigate variances
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships that require team works tasks.

• Can pay attention to detail and should have special skills related to warehousing
