VACANCY NOTICE
APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES for the following vacant position tenable in the Ministry of Natural Resources, within the Lesotho Lowlands Water Supply Scheme Unit (LLWSSU). The LLWSS is a bulk water supply project designed for the lowlands of Lesotho.
JOB TITLE: STOREKEEPER
GRADE: Special Grade
NO OF POSITIONS: 1 (ONE)
RESPONSIBLE TO: PROCUREMENT MANAGER
TENURE: 2 YEARS
JOB SUMMARY
A Storekeeper shall work closely with the procurement office and shall be responsible for managing inventory, organizing, and maintaining materials, receiving and dispatching goods, keeping records of transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.
S/He shall have the ability to accurately track stock levels, organise merchandise effectively, monitor inventory turnover and ensure timely replenishment of goods.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of LGCSE/COSC and an additional certification in inventory management is an advantage with at least 5 to 10 years proven work experience as a Storekeeper.
