Vacancy: Station Manager
Bokamoso FM, a dynamic and growing commercial radio station committed to generating revenue, informing, educating, and entertaining audiences across Lesotho and beyond, is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Station Manager to lead its operations and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of the radio station.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase audience reach and revenue generation.
- Oversee programming, production, marketing, sales, and administrative functions.
- Ensure compliance with broadcasting regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain relationships with advertisers, stakeholders, partners, and community organisations.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate station staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Drive innovation in content delivery and audience engagement across traditional and digital platforms.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in radio broadcasting, media management, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of radio programming, sales, marketing, and audience development.
- Proven leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound financial and business management skills.
- Knowledge of Lesotho’s media and broadcasting landscape will be an added advantage.
