Jitterbit is looking for technically savvy and sales aware team members to assist in driving revenue growth by preparing and delivering highly relevant and compelling demonstrations/Proof of Concepts (PoCs). As a Sales Engineer (SE), you will support sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions. The SE collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and other technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. The Sales Engineers are an integral part of our customers’ success as well as the success of our company.


Key Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in customer discovery calls with Account Executives (AE’s)
  • Develops and delivers outstanding presentations and demonstrations that range from standard to custom demonstrations and POCs
  • Responsible for representing the Jitterbit Platform to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Create repeatable and reusable content for internal and external users
  • Consistently tracks time and activity in Jitterbit’s internal time management systems
  • Attending and contributing to weekly SE meetings
  • Travel varies by geographic territory, but can be up to 25%. On occasion, proofs-of-concept can be held at customer locations causing volatility in this travel expectation

Qualifications

  • Strong background in technology, preferably in the integration space
  • Working knowledge of SOAP and RESTful APIs
  • Salesforce.com integration experience is a huge plus
  • Working knowledge of popular ERPs such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft is a plus
  • Passion for learning new technologies and trends
  • Strong presentation skills and storytelling techniques to build credibility with prospects
  • Excellent time and task management skills
  • Exceptional analytical thought process for solving complex technical and business problems
