LESOTHO SPORT AND RECREATION COMMISSION (LSRC)
The Lesotho Sport and Recreation Commission (LSRC) invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals to fill the following six (6) vacant positions.
SPORTS OFFICER (1)
Reports to: Head Sport and Recreation
JOB PURPOSE
To plan, coordinate, and promote sports and recreation programmes while supporting national sports associations, athletes, and club development.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and coordinate sports and recreational programmes and events.
- Support development and capacity building of sports clubs and associations.
- Monitor and evaluate sports programmes and report on performance.
- Liaise with schools, federations, and community groups.
- Promote participation in sports and healthy lifestyles.
- Assist with talent identification and athlete development.
- Manage sports facilities and equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field.
- At least 2–5 years’ relevant experience in sports administration or development.
