Description

Reporting to the Head of Legal, Regulatory & External Affairs, the Sustainability, CSI & Foundation Specialist will support the team in developing business policy, process, reporting mechanisms, and executing programmes in relation to responsible corporate behaviour, Foundation and social investment. The Corporate Responsibility and Foundation Specialist will have a good understanding of corporate behaviour, Foundation and social investment concepts to identify and resolve problems to best support the Corporate Responsibility and Foundation function.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing, implementing and managing the CSI programs that effectively promote the business corporate responsibility and investment strategy that builds the Vodacom brand
  • Developing and implementing a sound corporate sustainability strategy that aligns with Group sustainability objectives including putting in programs and initiatives that ensure that Vodacom Lesotho participates in global and local sustainability efforts.
Communicate and coordinate with management, shareholders, customers, and employees to address sustainability issues.Research environmental sustainability issues or stakeholder interests in the context of Vodacom Lesotho and identify environmental concerns.Assess viability of sustainability initiatives and monitor effectiveness of sustainability programsEnsure sustainability is integrated in the planning and deployment of network roll out and upgrades to the network and facilities owned by Vodacom Lesotho
